Ooki is a tiny Japanese izakaya in Zürich's Wiedikon, running since 2016 with room for around 30 guests behind a heavy wooden door and curtain. It focuses on ramen, udon and small plates – gyoza, karaage, Japanese curries – and deliberately skips sushi, reasoning that top-quality fish is hard to source in Switzerland.
